A Sirius Container for Gregarious Painting

Over four weeks, join Julianne Thomson and Michelle Dench in sharing your paintings and painting process in kind community which prioritizes the truth that creative and emotional mastery go hand in hand. Each week, a metaphysical topic will be introduced as a framework for understanding the emotional truth a painting practice offers.

Within each 90 minute class, each participant will have time to share their painting or painting in progress, their reflections on the topic, and receive reflection and feedback from the group. “Emotional Metaphysics” is an exploratory framework that prioritizes the mystery and joy of observing ourselves, being witnessed in doing so, and observing others in their practice. A gregarious container of painters holds each person as a true friend, thereby allowing visibility of personal creativity and genius to come through.
